Verdict

VANDERBILT was not beaten far when third at Epsom and with this longer trip likely to suit and Jim Crowley picking up the ride, he’s taken to come out best. Romanor was well behind the selection at Epsom but has finished closer subsequently while Harbour Rock and Camerone are both likely improvers on the back of modest debut efforts over today’s trip. Chocolate Box did better on his latest start without threatening to get involved in the finish but the Frankel colt Khattar was beaten out of sight on his introduction.
