    Verdict

    Merry Secret has a decent strike-rate for a plater but has to give 11lb to HOLBACHE including riders’ claims. The latter was back to his best at Bath last week and handled this track well enough when second in June. Praise Of Shadows might need a stiffer test and Desert Marathon has also shown better form over a bit further.
