      Verdict

      Still Waiting is still a maiden but has been dropped a pound since only beaten a head over course and distance two weeks ago so warrants respect. Bequia was too keen last month at Sandown but Gunmaker might benefit from a return to all-weather racing. Topmeup is invariably thereabouts but is now 0-14 and is getting no help from the handicapper. MISS MIRABEAU is closely related to a host of winners and has been showing promise in maidens on the all-weather. The switch to Turf and handicaps should see her in even better light and she’s the type her trainer does so well with.
