Verdict

Groundnut is a previous course and distance winner and that can be a huge advantage here. He’s been dropped 2lb since a third here in October but Sociologist has been progressing nicely on the all-weather and won’t be far away if translating that improvement to Turf. Rastacap hasn’t been disgraced in three previous runs on Turf and is starting to slip down the weights so should go well while Chess Move won at Epsom last summer so should handle the track. SHREWD APPROACH is another of interest back on Turf after a pipe-opener at Newcastle. She also won at Epsom last year, as well as Catterick, and still looks to be on a fair mark.
