In depth

Verdict

PERNICKETY still doesn’t look badly treated, despite making a winning reappearance over track and trip last month, and Lucy Wadham’s filly can score again. Auntie Barber won her maiden here last year and was in good form on Wolverhampton’s Tapeta in March. Lorelina won at Chepstow and Epsom last summer so should handle this switchback track, though has gone up another 5lb since hitting the crossbar at Newbury in the autumn. Singyoursong is another still climbing the weights but she should benefit from George Buckell’s 5lb claim.
