Landaman easily won a Pontefract maiden on fast ground in September but has been in poor form so far this year on soft going. He could bounce back from his lowly mark while Red Inca is another who doesn't look badly treated at just 6lb higher than when scoring at Sandown in August. Carragold loves it around here and has been in fine form this year but he's held by UNKNOWN REBEL on their run at Hamilton in August. Kevin Ryan's charge likes fast ground and won over hurdles in November. Julie Burke gets on well with him and this looks a good opportunity to get back to winning ways. Dual Polytrack winner John Louis ran very well when reverting to Turf at Newmarket last time and this represents a drop in class so he must be considered along with Muffin McLeay, who ran well behind Media Hype at York.
