The handicapper could have been far tougher with ROBERT WALPOLE after his second at York and, if William Buick can work his magic, a first win on Turf appears a distinct possibility. Miss Mulligan has been hurdling but her form on the Flat suggests that she is capable of acting upon pretty much any surface. Ruth Carr’s team have been quiet in terms of winners though have hit the frame with regularity so do not rule out a big run from Athmad. Zihaam is not without his quirks yet he has prevailed around here off higher marks in the past and Roger Fell’s inmate could figure if in the mood.
