Verdict

This year’s renewal looks no tougher than the one won by TIS MARVELLOUS last season. He scored by over three lengths on that occasion and is fancied to return to form. Korker won at York earlier in the year and placed at the same track last time while King Of Stars went close on the Knavesmire recently with Mondammej behind though could have been better drawn today. Existent finished in front of Arecibo in a Group 3 sprint at Sandown earlier but Ainsdale is best on testing ground and Alia Choice has a tough task on these terms drawn out wide.
