William Haggas has his string in fine order and can land another touch with MOOTRIBA, who gets the nod over Nesayem, Izzi Mill and the unexposed Jeunopse. The last named posted a satisfactory run on her sole start as a juvenile and is likely to be suited by the step up in trip. After 222 days out of action, her fitness has to be taken on trust, so the betting market is likely to be the best gauge for clues of the expectations held of her tonight. Izzi Mill also strikes as one that will be suited by this stiffer test of stamina and an improved effort is likely. David Elsworth has been a profitable trainer follow when he sends one to Beverley; so again the betting is likely to be of significant help. Nesayem was well backed on her seasonal debut and showed up nicely for a long way. She just got tired near the finish but the outing is expected to have done her the power of good. However, the Haggas team are producing a steady stream of winners and Mootriba fits the right profile of another leading player. The Nayef filly was set a stiff test at the weights when she was last seen out but posted a decent effort to finish second under the circumstances. It can be considered significant that she stays in maiden company rather than going for a handicap and Mootriba might well have been found the ideal platform from which to launch her 2009 campaign.
