In depth

Verdict

Hot Off The Press didn't show much in her first campaign but the daughter of Camelot should improve this term. Trevithick has a penalty for his victory at Newcastle in November and this looks a hotter contest with both WIND STORM and I Was Only Joking showing enough on the all-weather to suggest they are capable of winning this. The former just gets the vote as she was unfancied when just failing to make all on her debut at Lingfield last month though the latter is certain to make another bold bid after four second places, the latest by just a neck in a Wolverhampton handicap. The Pinto Kid and Nautical Mile represent powerful Newmarket yards and both should be noted for future reference.
