In depth

Verdict

STONIFIC returned a ready winner over course and distance a week ago. He drops down a grade for this and 4lb extra is unlikely to prevent David O’Meara’s charge from going in again. Doctor Cross also faces an easier task after placing at York last time and makes more appeal than Blazon but Snookered can figure having placed over track and trip last year and going close at Hamilton recently. Reassurance wasn’t at his best last time having made all over 1m6f at Thirsk before that.
