Verdict
Richard Fahey's Dr Jameson has been consistent with out really improving so far and might be vulnerable to an unexposed improver and as such we side with WILFRED PICKLES here while The Fonz could also be involved. Related to some top-class sorts the selection will probably want further than this in time but has been progressive in similar tests so far. He wasn't far off leaving the maiden's tag behind in a good form race last time and with the normal expected improvement should go one better. Dr Jameson has shown ability in all five career starts so far but has at best only mildly improved. Some good efforts in better races where the form looks good certainly have him on the shortlist. The Fonz failed to step up on a promising debut when fourth of 10 runners on Lingfield's polytrack last time. He could be that the artificial surface isn't his ideal the form from his debut run has him bang in the picture too. Elusive Glen was solid on debut and needs to be respected with his yard in good form while any market support for the newcomers in the field would be interesting. This looks a pretty competitive maiden where we like the chances of Wilfred Pickles.
