    Verdict

Alpine Mysteries is a consistent sort but he's upped in class for this and course specialist SAINT THOMAS makes more appeal. He's moving in the opposite direction as this looks easier than his recent tasks at this track and John Mackie's charge can record his fifth win over course and distance today. Cosmic Halo has disappointed since scoring at Doncaster back in May and Maybeme looks a bigger threat having won over a longer trip here on her penultimate start. Strike Force and Bobs Her Uncle may have made the frame on their latest starts but both were well beaten.
