      Verdict

ALWAYS DIXIE has a good record at this level (as her trainer does) and she can win again. Mark Johnston's charge is quickly turned out after a comfortable success at Catterick and this course and distance winner should run well from her high draw. Miss Wendy has eight lengths to find on that run and a bigger threat might be Privy Speech who is dropped into this grade for the first time. Maybeme is another who drops into this company for the first time and along with Pedasus is not to be discounted. A more obvious player however is the 85-rated Liszt. The booking of Paul Hanagan looks a statement of intent however the horse hasn't shown any worthwhile form since coming from Ireland and is hard to put forward until he shows some more signs of encouragement.
