Verdict

Flaming Nora is a half-sister to stablemate and Polytrack winner Dazzled and makes more appeal than fellow newcomer Iulus. Five Hearts showed enough on last year's debut at Newmarket to suggest she'll be winning this season, but she may need the outing on her comeback so the vote goes to THE GURU OF GLOOM. He looks ready for the return to this longer trip after a doing all his best work in closing stages over 7f at Newbury last month and is preferred to Auto Mac, who was beaten five lengths over today's distance last time.
