Michael Wigham wouldn't be sending Nona Blu here unless thought her capable of winning though she's gone up another 4lb for her latest defeat at Salisbury. Red Charmer was ridden by George Duffield in the Legends race at Doncaster and his mount performed much better than expected. If he runs up to that form again he'll be thereabouts while Ravenhoe is only 1lb higher than when scoring over 7f here in July. Billy Bond couldn't quite get past Eez Eh at Carlisle and has been raised 3lb but Gulf Of Poets won over 1m2f here in April and the slight drop in trip shouldn't be a concern. HUNGERFORD hasn't had much racing and his form has been a bit in and out but he looked worth persevering with after his return from a very long absence at Sandown a month ago and may be worth an each-way punt at a fair price.
