In depth

Verdict

This is generally won by a useful sprinter and Internationaldebut is certainly that having shot up to a mark 101 after victories in very tough handicaps at York and Doncaster, both over an extra furlong. He's certain to go well but GROUP THERAPY will be much more at home over this trip and though unsuccessful since landing a similar event over the C&D last June he's been running well in Listed and Group company and is favoured by the race conditions. Mister Manannan has taken time to find his form after running in Dubai earlier this year but a penalty for beating Bathwick Bear at Leicester gives him a stiff task. There was a surprise in the race last year so Favourite Girl shouldn't be ruled out, especially if the heavens open, while Golden Destiny was in tremendous form at this time a year ago on very fast going and has had a light campaign.
