        SELECT COMMITTEE bids for hat-trick of wins in this event. He hasn't scored since landing last year's renewal but was only beaten a head over C&D in July and an apprentice's 7lb claim helps his cause today. Mount Hollow has been in better form over 6f of late but has never won over the minimum trip before while Almond Branches has decent claims on form but could have been better drawn. C&D winner Diamond Blue wasn't beaten that far despite finishing seventh at Thirsk last time with Elusive Bonus and Ice Trooper looking best of the remainder.
