        Verdict

        VICTORY COMMAND won a novices' race at Doncaster last month before placed in two highly competitive events, including here last time behind Jungle Inthebungle. That winner is trained by Mick Channon who has Two Blondes entered here. He's been a short-priced beaten favourite on his last two starts and, though receiving 7lb from the selection, will need to find a bit more. Pesci didn't get the run of the race in a novices' race here last month and can do better though the main threat may emerge in the shape of Arden Warrior, who attracted some support at Windsor and would have finished much closer but for being impeded at a crucial stage.
