Verdict
Salamah made a successful debut at Chelmsford in September and though well beaten in a Newmarket nursery later that month remains open to plenty of improvement. Areen Heart made a promising start at Thirsk before beating three rivals in a course and distance maiden and he's another with plenty of potential. Brogan was unfortunate not to have lost her maiden tag before heading to Haydock where she stayed on strongly to land a 7f nursery so she's another with good prospects, though the guaranteed race-fitness of LUALIWA (NAP) may be the key to this. Kevin Ryan hasn't made the greatest of starts to the campaign so the fact that this son of top Australian sprinter Foxwedge was able to reappear with a victory at Chelmsford suggests he's made great strides over the winter. Proud Archi made a successful debut here in June so obviously goes well fresh while Newcastle winner George Reme competed at a much higher level on his two later starts.
