Plenty with a chance on their seasonal debuts including Haydock winners Valery Borzov and Marvellous Value though Doc Hay is 10lb higher than October's win at Pontefract on his return. Liberty Lady, Fitz Flyer, Magical Macey and Tagula Night all have claims on the book but have high draws to overcome though Hazelrigg could make a bold bid off his current mark. Irish import Partner is facing a tough task on his first start for Kevin Ryan and stablemate COURAGEOUS is preferred. The latter can take up his favoured front running position from a good draw and should prove suited to today's stiff 5f having scored twice over further. He gets the speculative vote in a wide-open sprint.
