Verdict

John Kirkup has slipped to an attractive mark but is an infrequent winner who would have preferred more give in the ground. Stone Of Destiny is another who is potentially well treated but he’s on a long losing run. Indian Sounds finished last when on a hat-trick here last time and was behind Sun Power and The Dunkirk Lads. But he tried to anticipate the start and banged his head on the stalls so shouldn’t be written off just yet. A stiff 5f like this suits King Of Tonga but SOUL SEEKER is still at the top of his game and it’s difficult to envisage that the O’Meara six-year-old won’t be in the firing-line again as he holds Resilience on York running. Aconcagua Mountain looks best of the rest.
