In depth

Verdict

Bavardages is in good form but 2lb higher than at Wolverhampton last week and he’ll have to work hard to get across from his wide draw. Take Me To The Sky has been gelded since last seen and makes his handicap debut but is also poorly drawn. The longer trip should suit La Trinidad and Alan King’s string has been going well since the resumption so Chinese Whisperer is worth a market check having broken his maiden at Wolverhampton in the autumn. IDOAPOLOGISE was progressive last year and well backed on his reappearance, despite looking short of match practice. He’ll strip fitter here and can recoup losses. Phoenix Approach might need this but is one to watch in the coming weeks as he could be well handicapped.
