      Verdict

      With his stable in superb form and a victory to his credit already, the progressive Boutonniere is likely to be a warm order on his handicap debut though faces Turf for the first time. GABRIAL THE ONE ended his first campaign with a comfortable victory over a mile at Pontefract and looks the type to make progress this campaign. He'll be suited by the longer trip and can see off Fraser Island, who looks a bit high on what he's achieved. Whiskey And Water was a beaten favourite on his last two starts and hasn't really shown enough nor has Hoffa, who has changed stables. Simon's Smile has only raced on the all-weather and will need to find more.
