Verdict
TALENT SCOUT won this last year and has subsequently won three handicaps on the track. He's now eleven but has been put in at a realistic claiming price and should enhance his excellent track record. Chiswick Bey is the other course and distance winner in the line-up and though he could only dead-heat in a seller last month he's performed with credit in handicaps in two later starts. Merdon Castle landed a Class 5 handicap at Carlisle in May though that was on fast ground and is his only victory in 16 starts on Turf. Dream Team is next best in the ratings due to the fact he's won twice on the all-weather though he's yet to reach a place in five starts on Turf.
