Galleon Beach has slipped a long way down the ratings and managed to put his head in front for the first time since his juvenile days, when winning at Chepstow. That may have done his confidence some good and off only a 3lb higher mark, he could well follow up. The only three-year-old in the field, Timing looks sure to be suited by this trip. She is a game and consistent filly and looks the one to be with. Course and distance winner Lago, has more to do off this mark, while Simple Ideals and pensioner Spa Lane are others to consider.
