In depth

Verdict

Reversionary found his level last time with a victory in a seller and should go close in this event, however it may rest between Delcienne and A Bit Of Fun, with the last named given the vote. These two met over course and distance in a banded race back in May, and on that occasion Delcienne came out on top. However the selection didn't get any luck in running and with a big turnaround in the weights is expected to come out on top this afternoon. Delcienne has given the form a boost recently with a clear cut victory in a Brighton seller. Reversionary improved for the step up to a mile when landing a modest race at Carlisle ten days ago, it was hard work with the jockey certainly earning his fee and it could be a struggle again today. It is difficult to put a case for most of the others but Boris The Spider has shown bits and pieces of form and may fight for a place. All in all a very difficult race and A Bit Of Fun is a tentative choice.
