      Verdict

      Gainsbourg landed the odds in novice company at Hamilton though was beaten in a handicap before that. Golden Melody is penalised for scoring at Thirsk but can figure again while State Patrol finished placed over a longer trip at York and could also go well. Ron O is fitted with headgear after placing at Thirsk but FIRST GREYED (NAP) is back on a winning mark and, having finishing a creditable third placed over course and distance last time, Michael Dods’ charge is expected to make another bold bid in this.
