Noodles Blue Boy won this in 2014 but has only scored once subsequently though that was from just 1lb lower. First Bombardment won here in May then competed in better company before returning to this level at Newcastle where he just failed to hold on. Oriental Splendour was in very good form before finishing last when favourite here last month and Geno gained his only success to date over the course and distance in May. It's over two years since Fyrecracker won a race but he's now dropped to a mark he should be winning from though it's about time SALVATORE FURY was winning again. Keith Dalgleish's charge is on a long losing run but ran his best race for a long time over 6f at Haydock last week.
