Champagne Ransom started favourite for a similar event here in April but didn't really show behind AVENUE DES CHAMPS (NAP). She's produced two decent efforts subsequently but, though she's better off with the winner, there appears no real reason for a form turnaround and Jane Chapple-Hyam's charge can defy a 7lb rise and complete a double. Ellerina was a 66/1 chance when runner-up to Retro Valley at Redcar where she stayed on well over the 1m2f trip and is on the same mark. Ingleby Hollow was a couple of lengths behind in that latter event and looks held and Le Torrent hasn't shown enough to be considered despite travelling a long way for this.
