In depth

Verdict

This is usually divided and recent winners have included three 25/1's and one 20/1 chance. SEE VERMONT has never won here but invariably performs well on the track. A wide draw won't help but he's in better form than most of these rivals and can gain his first course victory. Bronze Beau enjoys a bit of cut in the ground these days and is unlikely to get that here but Gaelic Wizard's recent victory at Thirsk puts him in the frame though he didn't run very well on very fast ground at Hamilton last time. Roaring Rory won a seller here last month and was then headed right on the line at Wolverhampton while Bond Bombshell's only victory to date came in a course and distance maiden last summer. Tinsill pops up every now and then and is on a low enough mark if in the mood while Bounty Pursuit made a promising debut for new connections at Brighton on Monday though it's a long journey to East Yorkshire.
