Verdict
Gowanharry is up a further 7lb for landing a double when successful at Newcastle last time. She had earlier beaten Black Annis Bower and the latter went on to score over track and trip before only finishing third off today's mark at Carlisle. Both are preferred to Needy Mccredie as the latter is upped in class after a win at Catterick while the inconsistent Comptonspirit will need one of her better efforts if she's to figure. CATS EYES will also need to step up on her reappearance effort at Kempton but is capable of doing so judged on last year's progressive form when she won four races. Only 3lb higher than her latest win at Bath in August, Robert Cowell's filly gets the nod.
