The top weight Khuzdar and the consistent Dash of Magic have obvious claims in the opener but we take a chance with Mark Johnston's Panglossian. Mick Channon's Khuzdar has gone 11 races since making a winning debut as a two-year-old and although continuing to run well there remains a feeling that he may be a shade high in the weights at present. Dash Of Magic is only 3lbs higher than when scoring here over nine furlongs last month but a combination of the longer trip and softer ground is a concern for the daughter of Magic Ring. There should be no such problems for the selection though. Being by Barathea, Panglossian should relish the underfoot conditions and the half-sister to Overbury has been crying out for a step up in trip. With Mark Johnston's stable continuing in fine form, she looks worth a bet on her handicap debut with conditions to suit. Fight The Feeling is well treated on all-weather form while a market move for Lough Bow, who has his first start for over three months, would be of interest but we are happy to side with Panglossian.
