Verdict

Carlisle third Secret Guest has the strongest form having finished in front of He's An Angel last time but is drawn out with the washing. Richard Fahey has trained the last two winners of this but Slippin Jimmy is another drawn high and stablemate and newcomer WHALLEY ROAD, a half-brother to the useful sprinter Bickerstaffe, makes more appeal. War Treaty may figure dropping down in trip today and is preferred to Tatterstall and Goose Rock of the rest.
