Affectionate Lady won a seller at Redcar before going close at the same track again last time. But CLIFF was narrowly beaten at Doncaster just 10 days ago and he gets the vote to go one better on better terms with Cabal for a defeat at Redcar in October. The latter has failed to figure since that success and Mercury’s win here last year came over 1m2f though he has won over 7f on the all-weather subsequently. Red Charmer won in a higher grade last term but has shown little so far this season.
