Final Endeavour landed a Roscommon handicap last month but is rated 35lb below Benaud on official figures and just 1lb less behind TAIPAN. Joseph O'Brien's charge has been disappointing since runner-up in last year's Queens Vase at Ascot and the latter hasn't run since August. However, Jessica Harrington's charge, who was a length behind in that Ascot Group 2, looks to have the most scope of the pair and can defy a long absence. Choice Of Mine has been running poorly over hurdles before finishing last at Limerick a couple of weeks ago.
