Lady Arwen has been in good form for most of the summer and, though up 7lb for her Gowran victory, looks certain to get into contention. Perfect Poise gave notice of an imminent success when beaten a nose at Navan and scored in good style at Punchestown for which a 6lb rise looks manageable. However, DROP THE DIP (NAP) was always travelling like a winner on very testing ground at Listowel last week and, though carrying a 7lb penalty, has been raised 10lb for future handicaps so looks well in. Red Heel has won off higher marks than this and was beaten less than a length at Fairyhouse but The Bog Bank was engaged in the 2.00 here yesterday.
