FASTMAN arrives in top form having followed two placed efforts with a close second at Down Royal in Monday and looks the one to beat. Sandyman and Dark Note both won claimers before well beaten in handicaps but Tara Power hasn't improved since a close second here in July. The veteran Geological keeps popping up when least expected and has now won 17 races but No Patience was pulled out at Down Royal on Monday due to stiffness, though would have to be on the shortlist if turning out.
