Verdict
Ampeson has ben running against tougher opposition though finished a long way last at Tipperary last time. Phase After Phase would have an obvious chance on his second to Millisle here last month but he also finished a well beaten last in a Curragh nursery a couple of weeks ago. His stable companion Liquor Scholar will improve for his run at Down Royal while there are two other entries from the yard, the speedily-bred newcomer Royal Bungle and Total Euphoria, who looks the type for nurseries. TRUE MOTION has shown good speed before fading in both starts to date and though vulnerable to an improver may have enough pace to hang on this time.
