Robbie Hennessy wastes no time in bringing out HERO DE VILLENEUVE (NAP) under a 4lb penalty after his victory at Downpatrick on Monday. Despite the extra, he's still a massive 30lb better off than over fences and the assessor will no doubt hit him with a much bigger rise in the future. He has to be the selection in a race where several of the opposition arrive in good form including Whatever It Takes, up 7lb for his victory at Ballinrobe though he wasn't at his best on the Flat at Galway later. Springfield Grey showed his liking for this trip at Wexford and hasn't had much racing for his age while Bose Ikard has achieved a much higher rating over fences recently and, if transferring that form back to hurdles, could be well treated. Tiger Bay Lady faces a much sterner test than the maiden she won at Sligo but is definitely one for the future.
