Beautiful Ben arrives in good form having scored at Killarney last month, though both career victories have been gained on good ground. Pershing has yet to win a race in 21 starts and has been well beaten on this sort of ground and Effernock Lad appears to need further. The four-year-old BLACK LABEL was left clear when the leader fell at the last at Ballinrobe earlier this month but he may have won anyway. He's disappointed at times but may have turned the corner and can follow up. Castelo Branco had shown nothing before a much-improved run at Ballinrobe and, with just seven runs behind him, he should make further progress.
