Mctaggart was returning from a long break when producing a fine effort to get within 2l of Port Merrion at the Curragh where he stayed on well over the 7f on soft ground. Botanical Lady made most over this trip at Galway but was 9lb higher when attempting to do the same over 7f at Naas three days later. That could have come too soon and she's a threat here. Corker Hill had shown nothing before a much improved run at Naas and has a 5lb claimer to aid his cause though that run was on fast ground. ART SCENE (NAP) was having her first start since November when chasing home Captains Dilemma over 7f at Tipperary where she finished with a flourish. She's only been raised 1lb and looks to have every chance of going one better.
