Verdict

County Hurdle winner Ted Veale has been in excellent form though couldn't justify favouritism in the Galway Hurdle. He easily won a similar race to this over the track and trip last month and will take some beating but QUE PASA could be the one to cause an upset. She's been in fine form over hurdles and has achieved a rating of 126. Her latest success at Galway suggests she's still very much on the upgrade so, in receipt of 16lb from Ted Veale, can make a winning debut under Flat rules. Strandfield Lady has won 11 times on the Flat and will enjoy the fast ground better than most while both Gimli's Rock, who has already won 10 races, and Marchese Marconi, who hasn't had too much racing and is entitled to improve, are also interesting.
