      Verdict

      A tight handicap with the vote going to STAR FIRE. Roger Charlton's filly scored over the extended 5f here before going close again at Newmarket and may just edge this. Pixeleen caught Equally Fast close home over track and trip last week and the latter re-opposes on better terms while Brazen Spirit scored here last time and can effectively race off a lower mark with the talented Megan Nicholls claiming 7lb. Vale Of Paris was progressing well until a 6lb rise brought her winning run to an end at Lingfield.
