Verdict

CAPRIOLETTE can take this moderate event as she showed her liking for soft ground when scoring at Nottingham and has continued to run well from her new mark. Miss Blondell ran poorly on her only start on soft going while Mandocello's only victory came over a mile on quicker ground than he'll encounter here. Perfect Grace has won around here though that was over a mile on fast going but Gloweth won over slightly shorter on ground with some give at Goodwood before a moderate effort at Haydock. Debonair is just 3lb higher than when scoring at Doncaster but Ekayburg, a Grade 2 bumper winner at Maisons-Laffitte, has been a major disappointment on the Flat and over hurdles here though wind surgery may help. Cheeky Rascal, a winning hurdler, has had 21 starts on the Flat without winning.
