In depth

Verdict

A poor finale and Other Routes gets the TEAMtalk verdict in a race that is little better than a seller. Gary Moore's charge finished inches ahead of Miss Amazer when the pair clashed in a similar event at Yarmouth last week and there should be little between them on identical terms but Other Routes is the more reliable performer and can come out on top again. Mrs Cube is a moderate performer and has been beaten in selling company of late but is at the right end of the handicap and can make an impact at this level while Ashantiana was disappointing last time but has claims on her previous second at Brighton (now 1lb higher) and is partnered by a promising apprentice.
