Verdict
This is a real challenge for punters to pick the winner of this race with ten newcomers. Andrew Balding hasn't got a great record with juveniles this year so Bumbling Bertie and Hollow Tree are best watched on debut. The dam of Cunning Act was a winner over this trip as a two-year-old and the market may prove the best guide to his chances. Biographical cost $270,000 and with decent North American pedigree he could play a role if taking to racing on his first run. Mahmood Al Zarooni has a 50% strike-rate with juvenile entries here this year and Plattsburgh must enter calculations for the major honours. Tileyf has plenty of juvenile winners in his family whilst Wet Your Whistle, Reflect and HAPPY TODAY are the pick of those who have had runs out. The last named gets the vote as his trainer has a great record here and has won two out of two races here with his youngsters this year. He showed some promise on debut and with that experience to draw upon against the newcomers he gets the nod.
