A low grade handicap and in such a large field, a low number may be beneficial. The speedy Tamarella, Blessed Place, Star Lad and handicap debutante Patandon Girl look the one's to concentrate on, with the later given a tentative vote. Mick Channon's filly has hardly set the pulses racing to date, but her form does bear close inspection. She caught a real tarter in a seller at Leicester, as it has been proved since when runner-up to Hit's Only Money, who has remained unbeaten since then and he demolished a smart field at Ripon on Saturday off a mark of 83. While she was beaten quite easily that day, she did at least show some promise. She followed up that effort with a sound run in a Newmarket maiden, where she showed plenty of speed until dropping away below the distance. The winner that day Bonus came into the race with solid form and had himself came up against the progressive Move It at Windsor. The third in the race Cayman Breeze went into that race with a handicap mark of 82, but while that may flatter him slightly, the selection, who was only four-lengths behind him at Newmarket, could have been let in lightly off a mark of 60 and will almost certainly be suited to this shorter trip. She should get a good lead off Tamarella, who is well drawn to make use of her trailblazing tactics and looked to be returning to form at Nottingham , while Blessed Place and Star Lad are others to consider in a competitive contest.
