Verdict

Symbol of Hope has won five of 11 starts here including last month’s double and this race last year. But he was only third off today’s mark last time and REGAL ENVOY (NAP) is preferred. The latter has won on both previous visits to this venue and drops down in class racing off a 5lb lower mark than when successful here last summer. Connie's Rose has been raised 6lb for winning at Chepstow while Thank The Lord finished in front of Alfred Cove when third here last month.
