    Verdict

PIXIELEEN carries a welter burden but has run two cracking races of late when upped to Listed grade and Malcolm Saunders will be delighted to have a black type mare on his hands. She showed tremendous speed to lead a decent field last time at Salisbury when beaten under two lengths by Eqtiraan - a repeat of that form should suffice here. Course and distance winner Belledesert is the one who could spoil the party as she has an excellent record here, including when a Listed fourth to Priceless back in the spring, not to mention three other victories in lesser company. Under The Covers scored here latest but this is more demanding, Lydia's Place is solid over the minimum trip and Highly Sprung will turn up one of these days despite becoming frustrating.
